Benefits of Coworking to you/your business!

Do you ever get sick of working from home?

I do.

10 years ago I started to work remotely and it took a while before I realised the impact.

I missed the interaction that the office provided and I spent way too much time in my own head space.

For many, too much time working alone can have an adverse effect on creativity, collaboration, problem solving, not to mention the damaging effect on our mental health.

In the last 5 years I’ve found part of the solution, in the form of co-working.

Sharing ideas, working collaboratively, or asking for a second opinion are key elements we can take for granted in an office environment.

Today, Platfr9m acts as a lifeline for ReWork in so many ways.

One of the key benefits is the endless supply of talent on tap.

Whether it’s digital skills, legal knowledge, training or business expertise, there’s always advice on hand, or someone to bounce ideas off of.

Unlike a traditional office, there is little direct competition or internal politics, therefore people don’t feel they have to put on a work persona to fit in. By working amongst those doing different kinds of work it can make your own work identity stronger

As ReWork grows I see co-working as a vital part of its journey. A critical cog that ultimately benefits everyone involved in the company and therefore our clients.

If you’ve started to notice similar voids from working at home, but don’t want to return to a commute, or simply don’t have that option anymore. Why not try a coworking space? If you don’t have one, why not start one up?

We work better when we share, collaborate and learn from each other.

It’s my belief that we simply can’t do that effectively if we work from home, staring at our own walls all the time.

Here’s some great tips on how to improve communication in a remote environment.

I’d love to hear how you’re overcoming this challenge in the way we work, especially in our sector when it’s not always an option for so many roles?
